I am stoked that you posted the pics of your bike with a chopped fatboy fender... I just chopped a fatboy fender and just sanded down all the paint to bare metal... I was getting nervous about the way it was going to look on my bike. But after seeing that I am quite happy.
What light kit is that in the rear the LED?
Also do you think the fender can get a little closer to that tire?
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated bro. Nice work again.
i also was very happy how the fender turned out. the lights are from custom dynamics, about 20 bucks a piece. it sits pretty low now especially when sitting on it. any lower it might rub. better pis to come.!
thanks,
vince...
I got a 04 softail standard and was looking to put a heartland kit on it. just can't afford it. but that chopped rear fatboy fender is a great idea, do you know if one of the older fatboys with the 150 tire would work on the 04 standard with a 150 and possibley look very similar?
i am not to sure, but it should look similiar if you install a lowering kit with it.
thanks,
vince...
I like the way you put that scoot together. Really sharp looking dude. Can you still ride 2 up with that fender or did you have to remove the supports?
thanks,
i use a stick on seat to ride my wife around. all supports are still there.
vince..
the bike looks awesome man !! wow, i love those led's in the back. i checked the custom dynamics web site looking for those led's you got but they got so many, made my head spin lol lol
hey guys, thanks for all the comments on my bike. My mechanic made it all happen with both of our ideas just flowing. here is a link for more pics. i will have a ton more once i get the bike out of the shop. looking like snow here in philly tomorrow, but the 150 tire looks awesome.!! Thanks again to Rick from disturbed cycles.
