I got a 04 softail standard and was looking to put a heartland kit on it. just can't afford it. but that chopped rear fatboy fender is a great idea, do you know if one of the older fatboys with the 150 tire would work on the 04 standard with a 150 and possibley look very similar?
It will fit .. just measure twice and cut once ,, you will have to lower the rear 2 inches to look right ,, Thats what I did with Vince's
I have custom cut quite a few ..
Whats nice about fatboy fenders is alot of guys dings the very back of them under the light .. you can pick them up fairly cheap at your local dealer tent sale or E-Pay
the bike looks awesome man !! wow, i love those led's in the back. i checked the custom dynamics web site looking for those led's you got but they got so many, made my head spin lol lol
you wouldn't happen to have a link would Ya ?
Look under accent lighting ...
There a 5 light pod that go in 5 diferent directions .. good to light the top of your motor .. I thought it would work well as turn signal lamps from all angles
Make sure you buy load egualizers also from Custom Dynamics
without them your lights will flash really fast and your security system light
will be triggered due to it thinking there are no lights in the system
They go for $15.24 a pop you will need four lights @ 54 bucks for all
You might have noticed I tucked the front ones on the inside of the springer forks
Nevermind, I just read the post above, same ? as me

looks great, and I'm now seriously considering the fat boy fender option rather than heartland, RSD or Shadetree fender kits. One question, if you go with teh fat boy fender, will the battery cover etc still fit if you want to retain the stock sprung solo seat?
