I also way 160 and had mine lowered 2" and it was ok a bit hard but if you wanna ride a little agressive leave it alone I raised mine back up because I WAS DOING MORE TWO UP RIDING AND IT IS MUCH BETTER
No offense utz but in your signature photo you look a little larger than a 160 lbs. Are you on the Jenny Craig diet and thats an old photo.
lowered my deluxe 2" , if you do it also you'll need a shorter jiffey stand . i found one on line but am going to find someone how can shorten the deluxe jiffey stand like the looks better .
UNTRUE...A stock Deluxe jiffy stand will work just fine.
BLKnCHRME your bike is lot's lower than mine and the jiffy looks like it still works well.
Sorry to change subject but lowering also effects your oil level since the manual says to check on the jiffy - did you make a mental note of what the level is at just after leveling?

I have a air ride so i can raise my bike back to stock and fill to marks.
I just installed the hi lo air suspension with remote control. The system was on sale for $699.95 which is a nice price. i had the legends system in my bike a few years back and it was nothing but trouble at double the price. so far so good with the HI LO system. i have the front lowered an inch and also have a shorter kick stand i had it on from when i had the legends. its a move you should make if you have the bike slammed. a word of caution if you have the remote control on your air system its best to have the wheel turned toward the kick stand when using it when not near the bike if not it may tip over when you raise it. No pictures of the bike with the high lo yet wont be taking any until spring.

Where did you find a shorter jiffy stand? The Deluxe already comes with a 1" under jiffy, and I wasn't able to find anyone who made a 2" under for our bikes. I'm not sure on the '05s and '06s, but on the '07 and up you can't find them, and you can't use the wedges due to the jiffy being part of the floorboard.
You can keep your stock jiffy, Bugsplat, if you dare. Mine made me nervous. I'm lowered a little over 2" up front, and a full 2" in the rear, and with the bars turned my bike stood up a little too straight for my sanity. I really had to pay attention to where I parked.
I took my jiffy off and had it bent another ~3-4deg in a hydraulic brake press. Now my bike leans at about the same angle it did when it was fully stock, which makes me a little more comfortable.
