I use blue loctite just in case the pulley ever has to come off. It is a bit easier to remove and have had no issues. I never need to crack open my master cylinders to put the calipers back on, but if you did it would make it easier to push the pads back in the caliper. Agreed on the raise and lower the bike to fit rear wheel back in. The front is simple. The rear is a bit more work. Still simple though.
