Default The new Soft Tail Custom

I have just seen the 07's. What caught my eye the most was that they have came back out with the Soft Tail Custom. I would have never thought that a stock bike with a King/queen seat would catch my eye. I cant wait to look at one up close. Well thats my thoughts on the bike so far what does everyone else think about it?

I hope the buyers have short legs, because that seat looks like it moves the rider forward about 2"-3"
Looks like a Wide Glide to me, so I'm not sure what their point was.

What their point was is all that Stock Chrome!!! I would slap a Corbin seat, T-bars, chrome hand controls, and V&H exhaust on it and that would be one bad machine with the new 96" motor and 6 speed. I love it!!!!

Toss out those skinny apes for a set of wired fat bars, add a real seat and you're at the same price as adding a chrome kit.
What's the point?
It's a Wide Glide with a Softail.. It makes no sense to me.

I agree with what you would do to the bike to make it great, but that's what the factory should have done in the first place to make it different from the WG..

As i said George the rear brake pedal has been redesigned for 07.The arm is now straighter, which i think from all comparisons(but could be wrong)to last years models gives the room for the FWD CNTL foot peg to be repositioned a little bit fwd and down. This is how it looks to me using the HD website color options pics.It is stated in HD 07 updates that FWD brke pedal was changed for rider comfort.

Thanks..

No probs George, just looked at HD site 2 different Chrome Fwd Cntl bracket Kits #33920-07 $299
#33920-00 $219
No pedals in kit.But this also shows that the fwd peg location could have been moved.Should be all retrofittable anyways.
