Default Lowering an 'o6 NightTrain

I have an 'o6 night train and was interested in lowering the back end... saw a couple products on Drag Specialties' web site (Progressive Suspension, Arlen Ness, & Burly Brand) which all seem to do the same thing.
-Couple questions though,
Any one setup better than another?
Do I have to do anything with the front end when lowering the back?
Anything need to be changed with the rear shocks?

any info would be great, and pictures would be awesome too..

thanks HDForums.

Lowered 1 1/2" using Progressive 413 shocks.

George C,
Thank you for your reply, not sure if its the angle of the photo but your bike doesn't look any lower than my night train... I don't quite get it.

I also used 413's. Lowered the fender to the top of the rim. A little stiffer, but not too bad.

For a "before" picture, click on the camera just below my name to the left, and then select picture jpg2222 for the before shot.
Then, select "3jpg" for an after shot..

Bob you saying the ride is hard? I was going to get a pair of the 413s but to put out that much $ and get a harder ride, I think not! I heard they where much better than stock even after lowering?

let me know please!

Ride safe!

Hey 20nighttrain03, now that you've had the kit on for a bit, what do you think of it?

1. How stiff is it?
2. Have you bottomed out yet?
3. How about 2 up???

Thanks in advance!

The 413's will give you a MUCH better ride than a stud lowering kit using stock shocks.
