Well I put the relocation kit for the rear turn signals on mine, so that no problem. If you go look at Edge brackets website. you can look at see the type of mount made of Heritage bags for 06 and up. It's not molded either but the step by step pics make it look very easy. I want to use the Easy brackets for they hold the bag closer to the strut, I just need to find someone who used the Heritage easy bracket exsepcially if they have a detachable sissybar. I know the Heritage bolt on the rear to bolts on the strut, with us who have Fatboys and who have the Qicj dis sissybar, those should be the same bolts. Right ????
i used the kit for detachable sissybar. sticks out a little farther but ok. i also used the forward mount easy brackets so i can keep the stock turn lamps
Ok I guve up and screwed at the same time. I tried the new Edge brackets even spoke to the owner in the phone. Swore up and down they would work with no problem .. guess what ????? BULLSHIAT ! ! ! ! They don't work at all. for some reason I cannot get these bags on my fatboy. Maybe it's because I have a quick disconnect sissy bar on my bike who knows ???

I have devised a mount system to attach stock Heritage bags to a Fat Boy. This system will allow for either a removable backrest or one without. You must attach my NEW lower bracket to the rear floor board bolt. Note: This set-up will not work with stock Fat Boy high pipes. any interest???
