Default Wheel questiom

Will a front wheel off of a 05 Nightrain bolt right up on a 97 Softail Springer? Thanks.

Nope....different axles/bearings and maybe rotor patterns.

As stated it won't bolt right up, but with the proper bearings and new spacers you might be able to make it work. I believe they used 11" rotors in 97 so you'll have to swap that out too. Start off by measuring the hubs to see if they are close. That will tell you right off how much work it will take. If you got the wheel at the right price it may be alright to put a little money into making it work but if your close to retail I would just by the proper wheel.

The wheel is free if I want it but if it's gonna take work to get it to work I'll just stick with my stock wheel.
Thanks for the quick replies!

The rotor diameter is the same on both. However the center hole on the 97 is 2" and the 05 is 2 1/4.

The springer also comes with a right side brake.
