Ok...I have my Nomex suit on for this one... What I want to do is put a set of V&H True Duals on my Train. No flashy tips, just a straight, baffle-less pipe on each side. To me, I think it would look sick. Kinda like an old hot rod or something....

I wanna say it would be cool.....Cooler even in black and unique as hell.
Im actually trying to find one online right now. The only one I have seen on a bob tail was in the 09 Drag Specialties catalog I have at home. Thats where I got the idea from.
Many things could go wrong or right w/ this what lenght? (Your talking like 2" Straight pipes?) Chrome w/ black wrap. Black w/ tan or black wrap. If it was me I'd buy about 5' of tubing from a muffler shop and zip tie that shiz up to see how it would look. I could see it looking sick if its done right.
Hey Mike... I think it would look cool... V&H like on Tad's bike? The one with the Springer Classic... You know the grey one that comes out sometime. Slung down low I think they would look killer!!!
Hey Mark, I knew you would save the day with that positive attitude of yours! lol. Do you know if Tad's running baffles?? I wonder what they would sound like open? I saw a sick Deluxe on H1 a few weeks ago with super long fishtails that sounded gnarly! Real raspy and crisp. I just think fish tails would be better suited to a beach bar/engine guard/triple headlight havin chrome *****. Yeah what I am thinking is just 2" straights just to the end of the rear tire so that you can see both pipes from a side/rearish angle. maybe slung low and keep them chrome for the eye candy factor. If any of ya'll have a Drag Specialties Fatbook you can see an example in the vance and hines for softails section. Just imagine that lower. Hey mark, got a sweet bunch of goodies installed this last weekend, hopefully comin out to show them off this sunday if u guys will be out. The prized piece of my collection was a specialy made Derby cover as a memorial to my father who passed in 06'. It matches the tattoo on my arm. I almost didnt want to put it on my bike, it came so well. He got it done from a guy in Va. At first, I thought he had you do it LMAO. See below....
