If anyone with the old seat gets bored or unable to ride cuz of the cold weather and wants to tinker on their bike for a minute I could use your help. I measured my seat at the widest part and I measured 14 inches, what does yours measure?
Thanks

I tried to mount an older bare bones on my 06'. The only thing stopping it from mounting was the ECM on the fender. Width wise, the mounting tabs fit on the struts perfect. Just that ECM stopping it from hitting the fender at the back. I bought a new style BB but it dosen't look as cool as the 05' style. If your ECM is moved it should work.

Sorry bgibbster... Just seen the thread...

Frame mount... It's the best pic I got right now... See to 2 strut cover bolts? Right in front of those is the bolts for the set mounting tabs... On my bike there were rubber plugs in them from the factory. No fender mounts on 05 and older year BBones. They look sleek but not much padding you gotta have a iron a$$... lol And some times I feel like I gonna slide of the seat... HP you know... LMAO

I would check in to that... I think "not sure" the changes were with the strut horns? They are now bolted on so you don't have to cut them off like the others when you go with strutless or heartland fender kits? Are you bolted on?

What Barebones seat do you want measured? I have a Gel one that's model LG 009, if that's the one let me know. I can measure it right now.

Thanks for the pic, and mine doesn't have that bolt hole that your has. Therefore I am guessing that it won't fit on my bike.
