Default Pillon pads for Cross bones

Has anyone out there found a good alternative to the OEM pillon pad for a crossbones, except of course just changing the entire seat? For those of you who use the OEM Pillon pad, how do your riders like it?

Had mine modified with softer foam on the top. Passenger says it is better. Mean City does mods, too.

Wife hated the oem , sore butt in a few miles, so I bought the butty buddy for her and now no complaints.

I had SOKUSTOM recover mine when he did my seat. Wife hated the pillion til I bought a touring backrest setup for when she rides. It lets her lean back more and she likes it. I don't like the look but it's a five second switch for when she comes along. It is all black so it's not too bad but by the time you buy side plates, sissy bar and pad I think it was about $300.00. Her problem was leaning forward too much had her sitting right on her crotch so leaning back a little did the trick.

Shaun recovered mine with smooth black leather to match my '25 seat. He does great work and I recommend him! Wifey likes it better now because the stock seat had a seam around the top edge that would cut into her legs. We are going to do some 300 mile days this fall. I am guessing that will be all she will want to do sitting on that p-pad.

I did not have any luck finding an alternative that would use the same mounting points.

BTL do you have a pic of that seat on your bike?

Thanks for all the input. I'm still strugling with weather to keep the solo seat or just go with a two up aftermarket. Any word on the street about good aftermarket seats that don't burn a serious hole in your walet?
