Looking good - I just did the same mod last week. You can switch out that center button head bolt for a flush allen head version from your local HD for $2 - much cleaner look.

Thanks man! Any chance you have a pic and know what specific bolt I should ask for?
Also, I had to buy a gasket but it seems to fit perfect with the gasket I had as part of the other A/C cover. Did you use the gasket you have to buy with it?

Here is a picture of the allen screw. Just take yours (the screw) in to the dealer and if its long enough show him this picture and let the Harley parts guy match it up to yours. The gasket you mentioned is round and goes on the the air filter between the new round air cleaner cover
(Harley Part#29138-91).
I do not know what filter system you have behind the cover so the gasket may not be needed.
Looks good by the way, say good bye to the football cover, I did.
[quote=Heritage632;6080858]Changed out my A/C cover. Wanted a more nostalgic look.
DUDE! I love it!!
I need to do that to my '09 - soon.
where'd you get the parts and roughly how much $ did they cost you?
Also, I've been shopping passenger floorboards - you've got exactly what I'm looking for. Did you get them at the dealership or did you go with another source?
I just took my old bolt in,since the stock one was too short once the rubber gasket was on behind the new cover. my parts guy GAVE me two of the chrome allens in differant lengths for free. was your stock bolt long enough? do you not have the rubber gasket? anyway the new cover is classic and very cool! SORRY i DIIDNT READ EVERYONES POST.I HAVE THE SCREAMING EAGLE A/C, MEANING YOU GOTTA USE THE RUBBER GASKET.
