Its directly up front up between the down tubes
I used a small circular metric job that was about 2 inches in dia. and I made a cover that goes over it. it very unobstrusive, but I'm rethinking that spot after reading were some of the others are putting their coils. I'm sure the horn would def. fit behind the splash shield.

Yep, I'm going to be moving my horn to the splash guard and sticking the coil behind the horn cover below, then add some of the SS braided spark plug wires pictured above and she'll be very clean looking then.
We are an Exile dealer. We can offer their stuff at a discount too. If you want pricing PM me please. I am thinking about putting my could under the splash guard but have never seen this part in person and can't decide if it is worth $100 or so. I can't put it where the horn is as my tank shifter is there.
I made a bracket that mounts to the rear splash guard and the coil mounts to that. I also bought some msd v8 wires kit and made my own wires, just have to re use the old connectors on the end of the plugs. I also relocated my ign. module back there also.

Any pics Dave? I'd be interested in doing this on mine.
