Default Used Deuce - good years?
A couple of local dealers have some Deuces in their used inventory. Are any years and or features better or more desirable than others? I always liked the looks of these bikes and rented an 07 once while in Phoenix. Any comments are appreciated.

I would get an 07, because it's the only year they came out with the 95 cu. inch. I got an 04 Deuce which has the 88 cu. inch.

Ya mean 96ci, its also the only one with the cruise drive 6 speed tranny.
Older ones may or may not have a carb, but the 07's only came with EFI.

Get an 07 like they said. I really like mine with the 96 and 6speed

Son had a 07, had BR's 2-2, and 204 cams,,, sweet
Traded for a 09 NT...
He just got tired of seeing,, Fits everything except FXSTD in the parts catalog on most add ons.

Here is a link to a current 07 Deuce on ebay with an extended warranty until 2014. Great price. It's in NC and you are in Ga. Not too far. As others have said, the 07 has the 96 motor and 6 speed tranny (if that's what you want). Good luck in your search. NEVER MIND> WASN'T A DEUCE

Thanks for the info. The 07's are hard to find. There is one at my local dealer, but it is a consignment bike, which may limit my ability to trade. They also have a sweet 100th Aniv. model that looks real good.

I have a carbed 01 and love it...I can fix a carb but with a EFI problem its a trip to the $tealer
