Default Chrome Rotors

All

I am looking at adding a set of matching chrome rotors and pully to my 1999 FLSTC. My concern is how well the rotors standup to day to day riding, and what they may look like after a few hundred or thousand miles.
Best to ask those who have than kick myself in the *** later.

Seems i read they won't stay looking new very long...and chrome is a very hard but thin surface coating. seems like a polished Stainless Steel rotor who be better..JMO.
Lyndall makes a set of pads thats supposed to be easy on polished rotors and even calms to keep them looking new while still giving great stopping power..

got mine on Ebay, was $90 for 2 Stl. Steel Polished Rotors, don't buy his screws though, they were too soft, get some quality chrome plated screws.

go with the chrome man, you'll love it. have them on my ride.

obviously the area of the rotor that comes in contact with the brake pads is going to loose some of its shine but it's not nearly bad enough to sway you from buying them.

You can get SS rotors for cheap on e-bay. $100.00 or so.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUPER...Q5fAccessories

They have two styles...with slits(like OS_Deluxes) or holes(like mine) at pad contact point.
