I used the Cycle Visions BareBacks on my XBones. My son also uses them on his '09 FXSTC. Very straightforward install, strong, well engineered, and you do not have to drill any holes in your new bags. I am very pleased with them. I found some sets for the Heritage Softail for 1/2 off at my local dealership and was able to use them on my XBones, only having to shorten two bolts a bit. Most of the kits are interchangeable with the bolt lenght being the only difference. If you can find a kit on EBay cheapers, then just give Cycle Visions a call and more than likely you can use it.

I just put Easy Brackets on my Rakaposhi bags, they are great! High quality workmanship and drilling 4 holes in the bags was no big deal. Drilling did not compromise the bags at all. They look good on the bike. $128 for the brackets at Cruisercustomizing.com

Have the EZ Brackets installed on my bags & love em! High quality product you won't be disappointed with. Can't beat the price too.

I'm well known for liking quick detach bags. I don't care what brand you use. I just like the idea of having quick and easy removal. Whether your taking them off to go in the hotel at night, cleaning the bike, or just want the bagless look for the day.

Thank you all your the suggestions. I am definately going with the easy brackets, and keep my eye open for a set of used bags. I think a set of road king bags would look great, but will keep my options open.
