Still don't give up man... Did you try riding and trying to go through the motions of that set up? I know before I did my jockey I was trying to put my right foot down first... lol
Yeah I did, I just went out and really looked at it. I don't think there is enough clearence for it between the tranny cover and oil tank. I didn't want to change out a whole lot of things. I do like the idea of the right side tank shift...hmmm.
Thats what I mean a tank shift would be the way to go were talkin maybe a second to let off the throttle and shift back to the throttle. now behind the leg would be rough. Dude by a LaBriola handle and bend it. your halfway there. 2 heim joints and some round bar. I like it lets get started!
Brother I would but I'm about to spend a year in the desert first. Mama is about to have a kid and has cut me off until I get back. I'm just kicking around some ideas so I can drop some serious cash when I get home. I have a long list of things I want when I come home.
Get home safe man. Damn this was just getting fun too. EDIT. Lets talk about a 21"er up front when ya get home
Dude I haven't left quite yet. A 21X3.5 and new 16 inch fat spoke with rotors and pulley is on the list along with cams, new paint, new rear fender, new side stop lamp, nacelle, custom turn signals, Shotgun air ride, and the list goes on is waiting. The next 19 months is going to suck without any mods. I just want something different and thinking the shifter is one thing that would set it to the side when it comes to Deluxes.
Like the 21 up front... but brah... If you're gonna pay for new rims you gotta go with a 18" in the back. Be safe... and we'll be here when you get back!

I would if someone made a 18 inch white wall. I can't find any.
