Deuce tank fitment question

Starting a winter project a bit late.

Will a 2006 or older Deuce EFI tank fit on a 2007 EFI Deuce?

Since HD is known to tweak stuff from year to year I wanted to know if anyone was aware of compatibility issues.

Yes, they are the same tank. I know on the '07 there is now a bracket to mount the fuel gauge sender inside the tank. Can't remember if they started that in '06 or not. I have an '02 that I just put an '07 tank on.

I have been considering a paint set............from what I have found is that all Deuce EFI tanks are interchangable....they have a plate welded in the tank for EFI models.

yes it will...the '06 efi deuce tank has the bracket for fuel gauge float...the '05 efi does not, but it's not hard to make one...question the tank seller about the float bracket if you want to avoid making one

the '05 efi has the float screwed to the plastic that holds the fuel pump, there's no bracket for it...the float is different
