Brother, you can drive 500 watts tru those speakers, it is not the rms, it is the speaker's size. Other than looking FUGLY (if you don't mind the looks), at highway speeds and using a helmet, you won't be able but to recognize tunes... I've convinced myself that other than a fairing (wich is not an option for me due to looks) audio systems like those priced at $499 is money in the waste basket.

I have a couple buddies that put that system on their bikes....pretty sure both of those systems are sitting in the garage now. Can not hear anything at cruise speeds.
