Thinking of getting a Cycle Sound System for my Heritage. The members that have it, are you happy with the purchase? How do they sound? What wattage do you guys recommend?
I've been looking for one too for my '09 flstc and haven't found one yet that i'd put on my bike. if any of you out there have one, a pic would be great
It looks nice, but you can not hear it unless you are sitting in your garage!
I can't recommend a "small" system and I tried a few with dismal results. I ended up buying a fairing with a "real" stereo system. Extreme but I'm happy with my results. If I didn't go the fairing route, I would have stuck with some sort of ear buds and an Ipod type setup.
They have a 75 and 100 watt system....sounded good...but then again it wasn't on a bike...I actually saw it yesterday at the Motorcycle Show at the Javits Center
It was the most wattage it came with less than a year ago which I don't think they updated it since. It doesn't matter anyway because the speakers are just to small and can not put out much sound. Parked they do sound like they'd work, but even with a windshield it just isn't worth it. Between the sound of the bike and the wind, you need something more substantial. I am not trying to put this product down, it's just that I went through trying to make it work and it just doesn't.
Take a look at Uniq Cycle. I started out with that system. Went across Canada and back to Alberta through the USA in 08 and had that system. It was good at most of the speeds we did. I have done some tweaking and adding of my own, but that was a good starting system.

Sorry if this was covered before.........
Don't know about that brand but a friend of mine has this system on his Heritage and I can hear that thing from my bike. Just a thought..
Thanks for the link.....not sure if I am interested in a radio like that in a "fairing".....then I would have to paint it etc......just rather have the speakers on the bars and the amp installed on the frame.......
