so i thought i would share this with you guys trying to put apes on your rides.
i bought 4 inch tall single post risers for my apes. my apes are 20s, i found out that the amount of leverage those 20s are going to put on the single post risers is going to cause them to twist a bit and become mis aligned.
so i went with 1.5 risers that clamp at the top with a clamp, this way both risers will be attached to each other at the top and will reduce the likely hood that the risers will end up twisting back and forth.
just figured i put this out there. I had never even thought of it but it makes sense, hopefully some of you guys wont make the mistake i made and end up getting stuck with an extra set of risers. lololol
Good info, but got a question...20" apes plus 4" risers? How can you even reach those let alone properly handle the bike? Id be curious to see a pic of someone sitting on a bike with 24" of height on their apes.
