I found a company online that sells replacement 2" plastic clips with a built in 2 digit combo lock at replaces the standard clip on Softail and Road King saddlebags (under the leather straps) and Tour Pak. You drill out the rivets, install new clip w/ lock with new screw rivets, and your done...per the website.
Anybody use these or have other solutions for locking saddlebags and tour-pak? I have an 07 Heritage.
But I'm not ready to spend $50 +shipping on something with no info about quality. The buckles could be made out of some cheap-o plastic that will crack from sun exposure. Or whatever metal that might be in the lock could rust.
Maybe worth it if it were a known company like HD, Master, Schlage(sp?), or some bike accy name like Kuryakn, etc....
With an unknown (to me) company, maybe I'd spend up to $30 and cross my fingers that I don't get rip'd off.

I like the "idea" of them... but for 75.00 (all around) plus shipping, I would prefer to know someone that i salready happy with them. If it is cheap plastic, it could be popped with a screw driver.
You people should do the research! I have had these locks for 3 yrs now, and they work perfect. Won't crack, won't rust, Very heavy duty. And yes, locks on a leather strap,, I have never been broken into,, my buddy parked right next to me,,stole all his stuff. Laugh if you want, they work. Did not know about the web sight when I got mine, I bought mine on e-bay. Since then my friends have bought them off the web-site. Same product.
