I welded up corner stands (painted them same as bike) and bought white plastic chain and laid out the mirrors. I got my carpeted bike stands under the bike holding it up , not on the kickstand. How does this look for a display for my bike this weekend at a show? I know I need to center the bike on the carpet, I need to center and clean mirrors, I need to get a centerfold girl to pose on the bike. No scratch the girl, I'm married. This display is set on a 10'X10' chained in area. Now if it just don't snow out the bike show this weekend. Cost of display or presentation so far is $ 200.00. I Need opinions to make this display better. http://www.autofestnc.com/POWER___POLISH.html

you could make up a board defiening what's been done to the bike . show what the bike looked like prior to your mods and who did the work if not done by yourself showing is all in the details
And what would the sign say "I went to the dealer and bought as many bolt on chrome pieces they had"... lol Bikes are for riding! I can make you a trophy $39.99.

I ride mine and I show it, thats how I enjoy my bike. If I bought my own trophy that would be like kissing my sister and saying I got a girlfriend, In other words it just ain't right.

Hey now, does that include our cousins? It is better then the cotton. Could you do the carpet in black?

I am thinking of a larger piece of carpet and A different color. I need to go and look at area rugs that are not persian rugs but just one flat color. Good idea Tripwire.
your ride looks AWESOME, you have my vote and i have not seen the other bikes :-)
I would just turn that mat over as it black on the under side (I think) also I would move the mirrors in a bit and angle them to the out side to give a better view. Loose the cotton ***** as they distract from your bike.
good luck at the show.

Thats pretty funny there!
But to answer the question, I'd lose the mirrors. They look like an afterthought. And I personally don't mind if people walk up close to my bike so I'd lose the stanchions too.
