I'm looking at picking up a '05 deluxe as a 2nd bike for me & the gf. I have quite a few ideas on what I want as far as mods and one of them is some fat spoked wheels. I haven't decided on who's wheels to go with yet, ride wright or dna and I'm not concerned about the price considering the quality is top notch. Recently I've seen problems with dna's quality, customer relations and also slow shipping/turnaround and want to know from the ones who have dna wheels, did they step up and fix these problems? Or do they give you the runaround? How about with ride wright, although I haven't heard anything negative about them, how are they to deal with? And last but not least, I notice that alot of guys run 16/21 set ups and wonder if there is a problem with going 18/21? Thanks in advance.

It's been over a month since I sent back a DNA rear wheel that had defects and they still haven't shipped me my new one. You be the judge there........... I would never recommend DNA to anyone ever again.
Max wheel size for rear is 18x4.5 with a 160/60-18 tire. I've heard really good things about these guys. Over 11,000 sales and 99.8% positive feedback! You can check their feedback- see for yourself. Here is a set with the largest wheels that will fit your ride w/out modification:
They were running a special during the holidays. Ask if they will honor the 10% off deal they were running. This is the route I'm going this spring. Good luck and let us know how it turned out.

Im looking for some real wood to knock on, because I had pretty good luck with my DNA wheel purchase, and even though they delays shipping my pulley a little, it wasn't enough to make me regret anything.
I just installed 18" DNA wheels and love them. I had a damaged rear wheel and they swapped it out pretty quickly. I had to send the wheel back, they checked it to make sure it wasn't damaged by me or a shop trying to install it, then shipped out the new one. The whole process took about two weeks.
DNA has treated me VERY well. So much that they replaced a front wheel for me at cost! I was hit and the front rim had a nice nick in the outer rim from hitting a curb....
I've always liked American Wire Wheels but the DNA's are pretty nice if you get a good one. Had a 21" DNA on my Sportster....was a very nice wheel and had good luck with it.
