Anyone have pics of a train or custom with the 2 inch lift? Does a lift affect the gas gauge reading?

It does a little but it will show less gas then you have in the tank. So you'll be okay.

Here's mine up 2" and yes it does effect your gas gauge. I reset my odometer every fill up.

Is that HD decal on your oiltank a vinyl or metal? I've wanted a nautical star on mine, but was worried about the temperature.

Metal, I used siicone to adhere it. I can't take credit for the idea, there is another forum member that has 1 there too.

Wouldn't have thought about silicone. Just a small amount spred across the surface?
