Default Lo Shocks

Just wanted to share with everyone that the Fatboy Lo has different shocks than other softails. Instead of putting longer bolt ends on them to make it low, they made the shock bodies about 3/4" longer.

Oh and how low is too low? I lowered my other fatboy but this thing is now slammed with a Ness kit and a set of stock shocks I had for 2000 and up softails. I'll get some pics up later on.

Harley does the same thing with Deluxes. However Progressive 422's still work fine to lower the bike for me and I would also assume they would work for a Fat Boy Lo also. Post some pics when you can.

I would think that the Fat Boy LO has the same shocks as the Deluxe and the 2005/2006 SE Fat Boys.

Once you start scraping on every corner, that is too low. I prefer my air ride for it's adjustable properties.

Here's the best I could do for tonight. It has more adjustment to go lower but I'm not sure if if I'll be able to ride 2up that low. Right now the edge of the fender is even with the edge of the wheel. I don't want the tire to hit the fender either.
