Default FXST bar change ???

I am going from the buckhorn to a stock night train drag bar. I just pulled off my old ones. The grips stayed with the switch housings. I wont be internally wiring since they are stock FXSTB bars. Do they go on just as simple as they came off? Or will I ave some messing to do with the throttle etc...? I am changing the front brake line so I know I will have a litte bit of playing to do with that. Did I miss something, it sure seemed simple taking apart????

Just trying to make sure I didnt mess anything up.

You will have to plug the wiring from the night train bars into the harness under your tank. That will require either pulling it all the way off or just unbolting it and sliding it back the get to the harness. You should be able to just slide it back. Have a friend help, even if they don't know jack, if they have two hands they will be helpful.

Are you changing JUST the bars? Or bars and risers? Or a complete bar change with bars, risers, cables and new brake line? I did a complete bar swap (buckhorns and pull back risers to all NT parts) on a '05 standard last season... I may be able to help.

IF you are changing the throttle cables, make sut the new ones are adjusted right. make sure you are getting full throttle and ther is no bind in them. not a big deal, but it can be an issue.
