When I installed the Corbin seat, I didn't install the rail with it. At first I install the rail, it fits good but it don't look right so I take it off. Now I had my OEM seat altered and had it replace the cover.[IMG][/IMG]

I'm still looking for the make my back happy seat.
You might consider a "Bikers friend" barrell bag, it was a cure all for my sore old back, and work's great with my Corbin Rumbleseat. you would need a sissy bar with your present set-up, and if you have problems in the lumbar area, I don't think you will find a seat, that in itself, will provide the needed support.
Talked with the doc about it the other day...he actually suggested getting a "flatter" seat (one were you don't sit down in as far).
Noticed that the corbins and Mustangs seem to be flatter with a kick up in the back. Hubby and I have discussed going to Hollister and having a custom seat made by Corbin. But not ready to spend the $$ right now.

latest update on the corbin seat I called the vender Monday and he had made contact with corbin they said that by looking at the seat there was a problem. I called corbin and then the run around started. The guy I talked to said they had done something wrong and they would make it right and that they had another seat show up with the same problem. They did not know what the problem is at this point and now have me in limbo. The vender I bought it from told me that he talked to corbin and that all of the seats like this one has a problem. I really do not want a refurbished seat that has been hacked up. I asked my vender for a refund and he said corbin will not refund him because the seat can be remedied. I told him I did not buy from corbin and that I want a refund from him. I was supposed to get a call from corbin yesterday no one called i wrote the vender an e mail at 6pm eastern and at 6:10 PM i got a call from corbin hmmmm I guess he called corbin and told them to call me had I not sent him an e mail I believe no one would have got back to me. This joker from corbin gave me the run around. I told them i wanted a brand new seat shipped yesterday or IM out. he said give me one more day that is what he told me the day before when i talked to him you know one more one more and the next thing you know its a month. I purchased this seat June 6th sent it back and at this point I have nothing the seat nor my money. corbin said the people who handle this type of thing were gone for the day hmmmmm nice job 1:30 pm and gone. I have put the seat in dispute with my credit card company and refuse to be abused by corbin. The seats have a problem where is there quality control it seems like this seat was just released a short time ago or around the time I bought it and now that they are out there the problem are arising. $500 for a seat is good money the design is poor with a locking device which makes things worst. This has been a bad experience for me and summer is flying by I will have to move on to something else the vender can bang it out with corbin I am in dispute holding a return tracking number and e mails admitting a problem.
I belive Corbin will make it right and when they do get it fixed you will have the best possible seat you could have bought. I think you should asked for something as a good will jesture for the downtime and poor experience. But in the end I believe the Corbin seat will be spot on and one fine piece of leather!!
What I hate the most is the bull they give you at corbin. If you have a major problem be up front with it do not try to use tactics we all know about like the stall tactic or the Ill get back to you tactic and then you never do. Just say we messed up and were ogling to make it right ASAP. I just received a call from corbin while writing this post. They said they would be sending me a new seat tomorrow. I asked what the problem was and I cant get a straight answer. I have already disputed the charge with my credit card and ill let that roll for now should I get another seat next week that fits then ill drop the dispute and go on my way. should I not the dispute process is in place and I wont loose any time with that. I am confused they do not have an answer for what's wrong with the seat but they claim they will send one out that is corrected. I asked if they had a bike or some bike setup to make sure the seat fits and they do not. I guess they make up some kind of mold and that's that but from what i get your seat is not fit tested before leaving corbin. well ill see how it goes. i have already ordered the legends air system for my bike that's my next project. I am excited about this I wanted to lower my deluxe but the shock kit Harley makes to lower most softails does not work with the deluxe its probably all ready in there, books said will work with all except the deluxe. I thought about the arlen ness kit which is not a set of lowering shocks its just an add on device. I recently had some good luck and I have ordered the legends air system from a vender who discounts and the price was pretty good as opposed to my local Harley dealer getting it for me or from Drag. Ill keep you all posted on the out come of the seat
