Lenale Cooling Fan Wiring
I just picked up a Lenale cooling fan for my 2010 Heritage and was wondering how everyone is choosing to wire them in . They come with a plug on the end of the wires for a direct plug in installation if you are installing it on a touring model , but on the softail they say to wire it into any accessory wire ( orange with white stripe ). The problem is they give you one of those cheap blue wire splice connectors that you smash into the original wire. I don't like those because they don't always get a good contact and sometimes will just cut part of the wire when you pierce the wire. Does anyone know if there is an accessory terminal somewhere that is not being used that it can be connected to ? If not I will bare a section of the wire and solder a connector into it, but I hate to splice into the wiring on a new bike. Any suggestions ?

there is an open spot in the fuse box. i used my spot for the heated grips. you will have to unfasten the box pull it up and install 1 wire to the bottom of the box, that wire will go to your fan. then add the fuse.
