I used the bbq paint on mine. I prepped the pipes, sanded and cleaned them. Itlllooked great the first year. After that it started to start to turn a little gray and flake here or there. I just pulled them off this year because they were looking pretty bad.

How about powder coat? Anyone try that and have it work without flaking or cracking?

Ive used vht on 2 sets of pipes ive made and have had no problems. You can get it at autozone. Just follow the directions as the can says.
