1985 FXT softail
two questions; just bought this bike which the title says 1985, BUT it has an evolution motor, thought those came out after 85.
Also does anyone know how to time it, where the marks are?

should be timed like any other year, through the timing hole on the left case under, and between the cylinders.

The Evos came in 1984, for most models.

Right you are. 1984 was when the evo came out. I was 11 years old. LOL.
