yes pretty much independant. i mean they are tied together at some point. but they pretty much are seperate. for example if you install the...RUN,TURN,STOP module its affects the rear only as is plugs into the rear harness. what are you trying to do? if i may ask. steve
Sorry to jump the thread, but does this mean if I put the load equalizer on the Flasher kit from Kuryakyn, it will work with the REAR LED turn signals but not the front one ? where would I put the load Equalizer for those then ? do I need two separate load equalizers ?
I'm just trying to figure out the signal wiring (front and rear) before I start planning/building a few mods on the Softie. I have not really chosen what I may do, just thought I'd gain a little knowledge before hand....
And BTW... a MEDIUM sized package will be heading your way tomorrow! Thanks again brother!!
klf33, sorry i cant answer that one. seems to get kinda complicated with leds. thats why i stayed with regular bulbs and just the rear module from hd. not sure where a guy could mount 2 equalizers without a shoehorn. sorry steve

GOOD QUESTION!! Standing by for a response as well...
for some reason the h.d. elect. system notices a load difference between bulbs. for example...take replace a stock 1156 sinple element bulb with a shorter single element bulb in a rear turn singnal, think the # is like 1006? wont work. light will light but wont blink, and has the same affect on the same side front. the system sences the load amp difference... steve
