I know NADA and such has values, and I also guess the bank will only loan 6600 or so on this bike according to my friend.
I was going to sell my 2000 FXST (Softail Standard) with 46,000 miles on it. It needs a front tire pretty quickly, rear is decent, has some extra "Live to ride" plates on it here and there. Leatherman QD bags, V&H Longshots small QD windshield on it too.
Here is a picture...
What is a fair price for this bike? Is 7,000 fair? Or should I ask a little more? (He is willing to pay 7k for it I am sure. AM I cheating myself? LOL
(I just got myself a "Bagger",, 2010 FLHX, in the sig picture!) Only managed to put on 100 miles since Jan 19th.. weather is NOT co-operating!
Agree 7K is a good friend price .. Would have gladly sold my 08 EGS for a 1,000 less to a friend had one been in the market for it because knew it was in top notch shape .. As it was did get a far better trade in from the dealer than was expecting ... But would have much rather sold it to a friend for the same amount ..
Ok, well that's cool, I paid 11,500 for it in early 04. So I have rode it for almost 30k miles and 6 years. I guess that isn't too hard of hit. I am a LITTLE nervous selling that high of mileage bike to a friend though.... It'll work out fine.
