Hi, this thread is about V&H double Barrel pipes specifically. Perhaps you should post a new thread in the softail section regarding the fitment of duals, as I know many people have done so successfully. Good luck.

Does anyone know will the double barrel longs perform as good as or better than the big shot longs with quiet baffles ? and will they be quieter than the big shot longs ? They look like they have a much longer power chamber where the two pipes are joined , the bigshots are only joined for about 3 inches where as the double barrels look to be joined for about a foot or better I would think this would be better for low end torque.

Hi, did this mod you did to the baffle make them any louder? I personally think (from youtube clips) that they are just too quiet - almost stock, especially when you twist the throttle??

Can you tell me more about your experience with these pipes? Thansk.

just a little louder. they are louder to those behind you. they are not as deep tone as the rush slipons

Do these pipes increase in volume as the revs increase?? (as you twist the throttle)... On the sound clips that I could find, the pipes had a nice sound at idle, but never got any louder when you revved it? Almost sounded like they got quieter??

Is this your experience?
Thanks
