Default Comfortable spring seat

For all those running spring seats, are any of them comfortable or am I going to be wearing padded panties on my rides? I want something with a high kick back and moderate padding. Anyone have any info for me?

Most comfortable seat around. Old Police style/Tractor or whatever's your preference to call them. Personally for me it's Tractor. You can always add a back rest.?
But then again you have the crossbones seat.

It's kind of hard to answer your question. What's comfortable to me may not be comfortable to you.

I think my seat is comfortable. I don't think it is as comfortable as other types of solo seats though. I can ride for and hour and a half before I need to get off and stretch my legs. I bought a gel pad that lays over it for long rides but I haven't tried it yet. I'm guessing the gel pad will get me to 2 hours before needing to pull over.

I agree with Rubicon,
I got used to my spring seat, I find it comfortable, now I think Lepera barebones is very soft , but it is actually less comfortable because my bike is lowered and I feel every pump, while the spring seat actually isolates me from all that.

I had one with just a thin layer of flat leather on top of Steel, rode it for 6 hours a day (3 hours out , 3 hours in) day trips, no problems, but others may find it bad.

This year I am adding a new seat with a little bit more cushion and wider, maybe it will make a difference we will see.

Finally, the kick back is VERY important and makes the seat very comfortable and gives your lower back a break

forgot to say.. if you have anything other than XBones.. avoid Larosa like the plague, don't ask me how I know.. I have an album with their seat not fitting on FXST and they know it and still they will sell you the seat and say 'no problems'.. bad craftsmanship is common, but dishonesty is wrong..
