No George I have quick detachable bags and backrest & a differant seat when the wife does want to go with. And a friend of mine has his lowered and he say's no way can he 2 up it with it lowered. So I'll suffer with what I have not that I wouldn't like to lower it just need to keep the wify happy too once in a while.

Yeah, there's no two up riding with the bike lowered, at least comfortable riding that is..
I like the new light also, but went with this one from Joker Machine...you can remove the plate bracket and even buy it without one.
