Default Lowered rear end

I have lowered my Fat Boy 1" but still thinks it looks to high in the rear end I wonder if someone lowered more than that and how the Harley goes I want to have it low but still going good on the road any tip?
Thanks from Sweden

I dropped my deluxe almost 2" in the rear. it isnt to bad except for sharp bumps like bridges and pot holes. and even then once you get used to the slight jolt its o.k

With the rear lowered 2 inches you need to be mindful of weight (you plus bags, passenger, etc...). Your bike will run out of suspension travel quickly and the lower rear frame corners like to hit the ground when pushed through a corner too hard. That will make your butt pucker up tight. Sure does look incredibly better with the front and rear suspension lowered down though.

Mine is about 1.5 or a little more lowered using Progresssive 422 and it rides and handles fine

I bit the bullet 7 or so years back went with a air ride and been loving it ever since.
Having it ride on the stops is abouut 3" lower than stock if not more. looks bad to the bone.
I put about 90 # in it for riding around town, and can tweek depending on the size of the chick on the back or how much me gear weighs on road trips.
Best of all when riding in he mountians jack it all the way up for the twisties.
I will say at 90# my floor boards give my buddies a light show, and are about worn out.

mine rides fine down 2". Just have to be careful on speed bumps and pulling in and out of places with rain gutters. just put money aside for new floorboards eventually.
