Default odyssey battery

Just bought a new Odessey battery for my 07 Heritage.I found this special notice in the manual for the battery. If your v-twin is equipped with a standard 32 amp stator/alternator the battery may run out of charge in about 150 miles of riding.Has anyone run into this problem? The manual says the stator/alternator should be changed to a 3-phase 40 amp or higher stator/alternator.

never heard of it...interesting. I am a big fan of their batteries though from my days as a Land Rover enthusiast. I have 3 or 4 of them in various vehicles and ATV's and have always had good luck. My polaris sportsman rolled at least 2 dozen times down a hill and crashed in a ravine, and the odyssey was about the only thing that survived.
