I love the one form Heartland USA, model HL-3005C1
It mount to the passenger foot peg (with or without the peg).
There's also a l.e.d light that can be bought, model HL-3001C, to illuminate the plate. This one is "mount"/screw on the belt guard.

That's the one I'll get, when I'm ready Enough expense for the winter.

Greetings,

When I had my Rocker C I used a V-Twin Motorcycle parts side mount plate for a 06-07 FXST. I never had any issues with it breaking off or anything.

i had mine mounted to the belt guard tab. It lasted about a year before that snapped. Now i have it bolted to the frame where the passenger peg would be.
