I just purchased the progressive front fork lowering springs for my 05'. I thought they would be drop in type installations. but they arent....does any body have instructions for the install? can it be done in a shade tree mechanics garage like mine?
Wow AZ deuce i have the same bike, nice bars! and i just raised the front of my tank also! just ordered progressive front lowering springs and a bare bones solo seat. cant wait to get it all buttoned up..
yes wasabi!! they just heel rests, not shifters or anything like that!! they good to ride with, ! to be honest not so sure about front indicators,i think they kuryakyn!
i just lowered mine an inch or a little more, when i first did it,it was way low, looked really good, but thought i would bring it up because of ride!you no when you hit a big bump now! wild deuce!! how is your ride?? yours is really low,i can get mine that low,but would just about be rigid! lol, im just using $20 bolts
what do you mean mounting bars latson??struts, handlebars?? i dont no anyway, but the rear fender, and struts would come with the performance machine phatail kits, they an awesome setup, better then heartland but cost an arm and a leg, turn your deuce into a rocker without the funny seat with that kit!!

With the Progressive 422 shocks and my deuce lowered as it is, I get a real good ride. But of course if you hit a nasty bump you'll feel it. Cruising down the freeway at 75 its a nice ride..There is no bottoming out with those shocks. I do have it set at a firm setting also.
I also have the heel rest on my pegs. Adds to the comfort..
On those wide fender kits, you have to cut off your frame struts. So once you go that route, theres no going back.
