had to change belt now to much time has passed & i dont remember the wires going to circuit breaker on the plastic wheel cover there are 3 of them. do all 3 go there or??????????

not sure if this is what you mean, but if you mean the little box attached to the back of the splash guard, then yes there are three: a black one and a tan on the silver pole, and another(!) black one to the brass pole.

 

yea thats what i mean. thank you. i think i have 1 red & 2 black ones. so with the splash guard in place & looking at it from the rear is the silver pole on the right or left?

 

wanna make sure we're looking at this the same:

If you're looking at the splash guard from the rear of the bike, you can't see the breaker-- it's mounted in the engine side. But if you look at it from the motor-- towards the rear wheel-- the silver pole is on the right.

you are helping a lot. thanks. 1 of the wires is from the voltage reg. its the one im most concerned with. i think you got it for me but if pics. isent to much of hassle then that would be great. thanks again though.

 

man, I can't get my camera far enough up there to get a good pic. But I looked and the black wire from the voltage regulator goes on the silver pole. The other black wire comes from another bundle and goes on the brass pole.
