Removing shocks not hard but you need a press to release the bolts and install the longer ones... You can take the shocks once removed to a shop with a press saving you some money and time..

As far as cutting your rear fender I used a 4inch wheel the thinnist one ive found... That way your cuts are a little easier to do... Just plan out what you want to do then start lower than your template and start cutting.. i used hand files and sand paper to smooth out cuts and get final shape... I left fender on bike while cutting for stability. Was very careful with tire... Good luck and post up the progress.

I used a jigsaw. It worked pretty well. I just marked the line that i wanted to cut with painters tape. After you cut, there will be a small gap between the sheets of metal that make up the fender. I filled these in with some putty, and hit it up with some touch up paint. Pretty simple process.
