I'm having problems with my 98' FLSTS Odometer going "black" and having the LCD become unreadable. HD Customer Service says they have never heard of the problem and say there was never a Service Bulletin on this issue. It started when the bike was 2 years old, I'm the original owner and the bike has less than 2K miles on it. NHTSA has regulations regarding odometers that manufactures have to meet in order to satisfy "True Mileage." I doubt I'm the only owner who has had this problem.
Does anyone remember a Service Bulletin regarding this issue? Has anyone else experienced this issue?
