You couldnt pay me to lower my Fat Boy. I like that seat exactly where it is
My buds anniversary was so high from the Factory that you could see the tread on the very top of the rear tire. It has nothing to do with where the seat is. Your Fatboy may be different, I don't know. Move my name to the top of your list, because its an abundance of people like you that makes what I do look so cool!
I always like being classified as "people like you"
So skydiving, harley riding, guitar playing, weight lifting, UNIX admins make you look good?
In that case pehaps you could send me a check for my services!

I havent seen any that were quite that high.
That deluxe seat is one inch lower than the Fat Boy. One measly inch. The ground clearance is about a half inch lower.

You think it's really all that noticable?
First off you are not "ignoring" my opinion very well.
I think you took me wrong from the get go dude. Listen, I love Fatboys and that is what I would have if the Deluxe hadn't came out. I DID NOT BUY A DELUXE BECAUSE IT WAS 1 INCH LOWER! I bought it because it was new and different and because of the retro styling. I think it still looks too high in the rear as well but I hate to lower it cause I ride pretty hard and scrape the floorboards pretty often now. NOW, Fatboys are awesome and I can totally understand why you wouldn't want to lower it because of the handling. To me its not the fact of setting higher or the seat hieght, it all comes down to the way the tire sets in the rear fender. The furture you get that tire up into the fender the better it looks. I did not mean for you to take such offense to me calling a Fatboy a "Jackass" but it was meant as a descriptive term and not an insult to Fatboys. Once again this is all just my opinion and I'm sorry if you don't see it the same way I do but you are also entitled to your opinion. To say that you are going to ignore me because I think a Fatboy sets a little high is just harsh. Skip hates chrome, you gonna ignore him now too cause your bike has chrome on it? I bet if you ask Skip he probably doesn't hate chrome because of how it looks but because of the up keep and pitting and stuff but your so quick to take offense it wouldn't matter would it?
Man you are a UNIX admin, skydive, play guitar, lift weights and ride a Harley! Wow you are the man! I bet nobody else could do all that! How bout' I send you a check so you can buy a clue?[sm=smiley24.gif]
Dude, believe it or not, while the handling is an issue, I actually dont want to lower the Fat Boy because
I dont care for the squashed down look on the ones I've seen.
Diffrent strokes... (and I dont mean that dumb-*** TV show!)
