Default FXDWG bars on a Fatboy?

Has anyone on here put the wide glide baby apes on a Fatboy? I've got a set I am thinking of putting on and I am told by the dealer that all my stock cables will fit, the brake line will fit with a little tweaking, but he had no idea about the wiring?
Anyways I'm just checking to see if anyone has had some personal experience with it and can let me know what to expect.
Thanks
Tommy

I believe the bars I used were off of a WG. I had no problems at all. At the time I did not know how to get the plugs off the ends of my wiring harness and I had the dealer change the wires from the stock FB bars over to the WG bars. Now that I know how to change the plug end I would say it is about a 7 on a scale of one to ten. The stock cables also fit. The brake line fitting at the master cyl sticks down instead of flat with the bars but it is not noticeable.

Default Fat Boy ape wires

I have an '07 Fatboy that I had 12.5 mini-apes (chimps) put on and we had to change the wires.

Just for a follow up, last night I decided to try out the install on the WG baby apes. I loosend the controls and the brake line clips, took off the clamp, slid the controls off both ends of the stock bar, slid the controls back on the new bar, tweaked the brake line a little, put it back in the clamps, lined it all back up.. done.
took maybe 20 minutes. The bars I had came with the holes for the external wiring so I just ran it that way for now. MUCH more comfy than the stockers though.

were they the 1" or 1 1/4" WG bars?

I'm thinking of going the same route with me Deluxe.

They are just standard 1" FXDWG bars that I got from my uncle who upgraded to 21" black apes. Now that I know they will fit, I'm gonna start shopping for some fatter bars that I can wire internally.

AFAIK they are the same bars that come on the FXSTC, possibly diff risers though. I think they could be what I'm looking for as well.

The stock bars for the Heritage will work as well, but the wrist angle was a little different in the bend. I went to the dealership and had them get out both sets (the wideglide and the heritage) to compare and the WG bars just seemed a better fit for me.
