Thinking about changing the look of my bike and I've come across a few bikes with the RS velocity stack. Have you guys heard good things about it? How much of a performance increase have you all seen and is it safe to run that since it doesn't have an air filter?

I love the look of it but it really does not have a filter. I run the RSD Venturi. Let me know if you need discounted pricing on any RSD stuff.

Yup no filter... just a screen. As far as performance goes no diffrerent from running an open air filter. Mostly did it just for the looks. I asked my friends who have a shop cause all the bike (choppers) in there have velocity stacks he said... "Don't let water get in there"
Thats when the motor will start to go down hill. Oh yah I have it on a Mikuni 42 with a CV adapter.
