Default Ally Art Flush Softail Footpegs?

Anyone running a set of these flush mounted footpegs?

I'm undecided on whether to get the short or long pegs?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

They look clean. Do you have a pic of them open?

They look nice closed...but totally uncomfortable for actual use. Small surface with no rubber...most passengers would have issue with that. Larger surfaces, or at least having rubber gives a more secure feeling to a passenger that has no control. Not to mention, absorb some vibration. If you don't plan on running passengers, go for it. But, if you do (and going off feedback I've had from others, and have given) I wouldn't.

Doc, was your feedback from someone who had these pegs or something similiar?

I rarely run a passenger and found the floor boards I have aren't what I want.

Thanks for the info.

No, not from these, but similar. They were passenger pegs that were small and metal. I even "semi" tried them out, and being metal has very little stability feel. I guess, what I'm saying is that they were slick, and small. But, apperantly vibration can be an issue as well.

Regardless, if you don't run passengers much, go for the looks. They really do look sharp in the closed position. They do "look" much better than boards...just not sure on the comfort factor.

They look like they would hit most 2 into 2 pipes. Like a set of V&H long shots, etc.

Turbo... i've been thinking about pulling the trigger on those myself, I didn't know they came in different sizes beside for narrow or wide tire (200) softy's. It's hard to throw down $200.00 on rear pegs... When I got other mods in the works. Like you my wife rarely rides and I think they would give a clean look when riding solo also.
