Thinking about 280 tire for my Rocker. I am about to buy new wheels and maybe i can buy 10" wheel for back instead of 8,5" not to chane it again in future. I found this 280 wide tire kit. Can anyone tell me if this kid includes all things i need for conversion? I mean i am not expert in this at all, just heard that something must be also done with transmission. If i buy this kit, will i need to do anything else?
I would contact them as the Rocker already is offset in the primary to get the 240 tire in there. It looks like the kit is for the std softail.
thats goood point, thanks. I contacted them. I also found this 280 kit directly for Rocker. Still not sure if contains all i need for conversion. I sent them email.
Just got back answer about kit above that this kit has everything. I just would like to double check with you guys since i am from Europe and any mistake is hard to solve for me. This is the answer. What do you think? Also the 2K seems to me not so bad?! or any other suggestions?
kit is complete to make it work - retail 1999 usd
We offer a complete 280 wide tire kit for your Rocker. Comes with our offset kit (not showed), complete swingarm assembly, axle, splash guard. Available with hidden axle of with open axle (like stock). Re use all your stock components. Requires 18 X 10 wheel, 280 tire and fender. Look at our Rocker fixed 280 fender conversion. We are also distributor for all major brands of wheels. These kits are the best there is in the business not a cheap imitation. Made in America. Really comes complete.
cant wait to see it..i want a 300 on mine but ill settle for 280...
Yeah, just looks like no one here is able to confirm that this kit above has everything i need. I mean the seller said yes, but according my experience is better to double check.....
From what I can tell you need to combine about 3 different items.. The kit with the swingarm, the fender kit with the struts, new rear wheel plus you need to check into a new seat that I didn't see included in any of the kits..

My plan is this one.
1. this kit which should include all concerning swingram, primary, et.
2. I purchased Heartland kit (just one the way from U.S.) and i want to use Heartland fender. Idea is to cut the fender in midle and insert strip to make it wider fit 280 and put together. Struts would stay original Heartland
2. I want to use Heartland seat
Just my confusion is that i can find some kits for even 5K which saying its inluding transmission upgrade so have no idea if i need something like this additionaly which is not listed above. I mean i donta want to be surprised i have to spend additional thousands for something....
