Got rid of those ugly pipes that come with a Deuce. They also give the passenger a hot foot, something Harley has been told for years but they still put them on the Deuce and Fatboy.
Windshield, bags, pass. seat and backrest all came with. ordered pipe when I purchased. The first true add-on for me was Engine gaurd and windshield bag.
I believe it was: Saddle bags, Harley Davidson slip-ons, passing lamps, nacelle, windshield, pegs/grips/floor boads and white walls... wow!, loooong time ago.
Pipes were installed on the bike sitting in the showroom, V&H Longshots.
My first wrench turning was the Head Light / turn signal/tailight, trim rings.
It been all down hill from there, I spen more at the Harley store than I used to spend at the liquior store.
Probably need to start drinkin again, it was cheaper.....
When I picked up my Fatboy two years ago, I told the dealer NO OPTIONS, NO ADD ON'S! Got outside to take delivery and started it up[:@], shut it off, walked back inside and bought some SE slip on pipes.
