07 Hertage Softail Speedometer Swap

I`m removing my combo Speedo/Tach from my 07 Heritage and installing the stock Speedo. My question is will the actual mileage transfer to the original Speedo ? If not how do I get the actual mileage to register ? I was told it could be changed by the dealership. I checked with their mechanic and he told me they can`t change it. I`m concerned because I`m selling the bike and don`t want a problem with the title not showing the actual mileage. Any thoughts or solutions ?

The dealership cannot reset an odometer. They can be sent back by your dealer to the MOCO to be reset.

I`m going to sell the bike and remove all the upgrades to recoup some of the money I have into it.
The Speedo combo is great it even has a 6th gear indicator light.
